History: Neema Grace's birthmother is HIV+ and was told not to breastfeed her. So we agreed to care for the baby until she is 6 months old and eating solid foods. She will then return to her mother.
UPDATE: On Dec 28th, Neema Grace was brought back to us by her young uncle who cannot care for her. Her mother has become very sick and can also not care for her. We will talk to them and see if they will relinquish her for adoption
January 2008: Recently we spoke to Eva, Neema Charles mother, by phone. She is still in the hospital, but she said she will come and talk to us as soon as she can. We may have to make a visit to her. UPDATE: Her mother died. Neema Charles is still in limbo with us.
