History: We don't know anything about Emily's background, except that she was abandoned at birth. We found her, along with three other babies, awaiting our care at Mt. Meru Hospital here in Arusha, TZ.
She is a petite little girl and very easy going. When she does cry, she has a very unusual one where she opens her mouth wide and says "aaah" and then purses her lips like she is going to kiss, and emits an "oooh" sound. It make us all smile and comfort her immediately.
She is also available for adoption here in TZ, and we have a family who will soon be approved for adoption and wants a baby girl, so we pray that Emily will have a forever family.
UPDATES:
December 1, 2005: Emily went home with her Tanzanian adoptive mom. Her new aunt works at the grocery store that we frequent, so we know that Emily is settling in well. She has also come to visit us at Cradle of Love.
