Speechless

I don't even know what to write! Things are going well at the Home. Nancy moved today from the nursery to the main house. Julie and Rebecca, two of our volunteers left and we are missing them.

Triplets Turn One!

November 12 2008 Four tiny babies were born out in a Maasai village. Amazingly, they were born naturually and all survived. Sadly, their mother bled to death shortly after their birth. Sometimes God says "wait", and wait we have! For ten long months we have called Carolina's father and we have been given excuse after excuse why he couldn't come, ( someone died, he was selling his maize, he had to talk to the uncle and the uncle was in Russia…!) and other times he said [...]

Eric and Peter are doing well and Peter has finally stopped throwing up half his feeds.
  

 This past week one of our wonderful volunteers turned 21. We had a little party for her at my house.

Little Amani

Another baby for our nursery. Amani (Peace) is 3 weeks old and weighs 1.7 kg. We still have him in an incubator to be sure he is kept warm.

His mother is still living, but quite sick in the hospital. Imani is testing positive, so we know why the mother is sick. We hope this little [...]
