Visitors from KCB

On Sunday morning we had a group of about 14 people come from the Kenya Commercial Bank in Arusha. They brought 8 trees to plant as well as LOTS of fresh fruits and vegetables, dry food goods and soaps for the Home. Thank you to all who participated in this wonderful outreach to our babies!
They spent about two hours playing with the children and seemed to really enjoy their time.
All the goodies Feeding lunch to the babies
My family and I are now in Oregon and having a wonderful time. We are still a big jet lagged, but doing pretty well in staying awake most of the day–don't want to miss a minute by sleeping!
The incubators are put together and I will post photos of that soon. Marsha, the ADRA volunteer is keeping me up to date on all the activities at the Home and trying to be positive, so that I don't fret! Thanks, Marsha.
You’re welcome, Davona!
Wanna make sure you guys have a wonderful, refreshing furlough! By the way, it’s a pleasure to work with Bathilda and Fatina, those ladies are great!! Update on the doggies: We have to literally carry Ebony into the house to have her feed the puppies, but she’s doing pretty well for a young mommie of 7 babies. Will do a little photo shoot so you can post pics of the cute puppies.
