New Babies, Grown Baby
April 8th, 2009 by Davona
While my family and I were in Kenya this past weekend, we received a one day old baby girl. She was born on April 2nd and is named Jacqueline. Here she is at five days old.
This afternoon we received 5 month old Dennis from Selian Hospital. He was premature and kept there as his mother threatened to "throw him to the dogs". She is positive but he had the PCR test and is negative!
Just had his bath, after arrival.
Also this afternoon we had a surprise visit from our graduate, Neema Charles! She is as lovely as ever, and I found out that she lives in town, not in the southern part of TZ as I thought. So we will get to see her now and then.
OH MY GOODNESS!!! Neema is so big!! Always love to hear about the kids who go back home and come for a visit. Shows that they are well taken care of still! GORGEOUS NEW ARRIVALS YOU GOT THERE!!!!
New babies! So glad to see that Dennis is negative! See you in a month, Davona!!!
Bless you for making a difference over and over again to little lives! May the mother’s hearts and minds be healed. May these two too grow up to know lots of joy. At least being with you guys will give them that support to start with. x
