Another graduate

On Saturday January 24th, Yasini's grandmother came to take him home. He just turned two on the 7th, so the timing was right.

Busy Morning

I went to Arusha this morning with my three girls and two volunteers. Got home at 1 pm to find a large group of visitors from the States, most of whom were medical people. Then, we received two new babies, both are HIV postive. Musa is about a year old and is thin and weak. [...]

What a fabulous, refreshing time our family had at Asha Cottages  (www.ashacottages.com) on Diani Beach, the southern coast of Mombasa! I would recommend this family run place to anyone! It was almost like being at a spa, with all the personal attention you got, the gorgeous setting and facilities and great food.

Tomorrow morning, Sunday, my family and I head for the Indian Ocean for a week of relaxation. I will come back refreshed and ready to face the New Year.

I contacted the relatives of Jade and Jena and found out that Jade passed away on Thursday morning. Jena is doing well and will return to us. [...]

Joshua Leaves with Dad

This morning Joshua' dad came with his new wife and baby to take him home. He is 2 years 9 months and well ready to be out in the real world! He went happily, and we have asked his father to bring him back for a visit in about 3 months.
