Let's start with the good news. The construction workers have been pouring the slab today and will have it finished by nightfall. Instead of mixing all the cement by hand, they rented a mixer and that has enabled them to complete the job in one day.

It is so nice to have a nurse on staff now! Salimu got his thumb slammed in a door and she took care of that. Now Jackson has oral thrush, vomiting and a bad chest. She is caring for that. However, Batilda the nurse, is off on Thursdays, so I hope no babies get sick [...]

This morning the kids were at the Mulberry bushes having a real feast! They had purple all over them! Face, hair, hands, clothes. Oh the poor laundry ladies when they see those clothes!

Two day volunteers, Anna and Nicole, took photos of all the children and then made adorable "foam" frames for them. They now adorn the wall in the hallway. Thank you so much for doing that, ladies! We love it!
