We miss you Lilly!

Our dynamo of a volunteer left last evening and her presence is already missed. Lobikeki was in the arms of another woman today! (Lilly will understand this comment) I am certain that Lilly will return next year to spend time with us.

We had a group of 21 Canadian students, parents and staff from Riverside Secondary in Port Coquitlam British Columbia, visit us yesterday.  We had been anticipating their visit for  a couple of months, and though they had a challenging time getting to Tanzania, they did arrived safely.  They stayed playing and helping with the babies for about 4 hours. They brought 11 large containers of goods for the Home, all of which will be used with pleasure and thanks.

    Hello Davona!

You probably dont remember me but my name is Madeleine Spivey and about 3 years ago I came to Cradle of Love for my work experience for International School Moshi with my best friend Sophie Simonson! We had such a great time helping out! You only had about 13 babies back then and the new building was not yet finished…seem like such a long time now! Well I am living in Dakar Senegal now and was looking through my closet and found the shirt you gave to me with the cradle of love logo on it and it got me wondering how things were going over in Arusha with you guys and imagine my suprise at seeing little Tyson all grown up and living with the Gee family who were my neighbors at PPF estate in Njiro!!I was shocked because the last time I saw them they only had 5 kids and now their family has almost doubled! WOW! If you see them again would you please tell the that the Spivey Family (Wendy, Fraser, Anthea and Madeleine) say Hi from Senegal!

Thanks for such a great experience (I now volunteer at an orphanage here in Senegal and it was Cradle of Love that first started my love for helping babies!)

    Lots of Love and Kindness,

    Madeleine Spivey
