Where Are You?

I received an email from a girl in the UK a couple of months ago. She was going to do fund raising for me, so that we could get the volunteer apartment completed. If you are reading this, friend, please get in contact with me and let me know how things are going. I can't find your email address.
I heard from Hannah today, and she said that she finally feels that she in control of it all now. It's really hard to just jump into running a Home, like she has done. I tip my hat to her! She said that all the babies are healthy and the nannies are doing their best. We have had lots of visitors, donations and people who are wanting to volunteer.
The TZ government made an announcement on the radio that they were going to check all orphan projects and see that they were not distributing out-dated medicines and foods to the children. We have checked our supplies! We are not in the habit of doing that, however Hannah found some sealed multi-vitamins that were past the date, so has removed them.
Three more weeks and we will be headed home. It will be good to be back, being with the babies and my mission.
I had to giggle a little when I read about the announcement on the radio. My response is “yeah, right” because it sounds like they might actually care. Can’t get TZ social workers to do their jobs when it comes to benefiting the children but they want to make sure “there are no outdated medicines being given. ” Can’t wait to be back in TZ.
