Another Day

This morning was busy with visitors!  We had a group of Dutch students and their sponsors come and spend about an hour with the babies. They are with a group called "Explore". Just before lunch another group of 8 Americans came by–5 being Medical Doctors. One of the Drs. had a feel around my sore knee and said that I have torn a ligament and it will be a good month before it is right again. What a bother! She is going to get me a flexible knee brace to wear.

I received an email about twins. I have to get the full story on these babies, as the mother is still living. We must be sure that the babies are really in need of care from someone other than their mother. We still have not received the other two babies that I got a call about last week. I have a feeling that all four will come in one day!! We have the room though.

I also received a phone call from St. Lucia, who I had contacted last month about taking Maria and Philip. This Home cares only for HIV+ children. The director will visit on Friday and we will make a decision then. Both children are already over two years of age–Maria is abandoned and neither of Philip's parents are alive.
