Amina’s New Family

We had the most wonderful baby placement this morning! Freddy and Carolyn Nyiti and their three birthchildren, welcomed baby Amina Sharleen into their family. The babys' mother and siblings (3) were there to present her to her adoptive family. The new paternal grandparents were also present. There were smiles all around.
Amina's birthmother has active AIDS. Her legs are swollen and covered with Karposi's Sarcoma. She will be going to Dar next week to receive special treatment. Her family have visiting rights to Amina in the Nyiti's home.
Carolyn wrote to me that evening and said, "I am so in love!"
Carolyn was always the best, and we really miss her over here.
