Our baby count is going up quickly these days! This past week we received 4 new babies: Joshua, Neema and Joyce (sisters) and Josh. Three of them are newborns. That makes 21 in care now. I have taken photos of them all, but have to wait for our webmaster to return from her honeymoon to get them on the website.

We will soon have to hire three more caregivers, but for now we are trying to avoid that additional expense by using our volunteers efficiently. They are especially helpful in the early evening when getting all the babies bathed and ready for bed.

There are several big expenses that I need to pay for soon: a load of locally made bricks to make patios and sidewalks around the Home, more exterior paint, new cribs and mattresses (each single crib and mattress costs 95 dollars and the double cots are 180) and the apartment needs to be built.

My husband just asked me if anyone actually reads this! I told him that I know my good friend Karen Belcher does for sure. Anyone else who does, I would love to hear from you with any comments or questions.
