Our family has been back in TZ now for three weeks and we "hit the ground, running!" We met volunteer Sophia Hamilton in Amsterdam and she joined us on the last leg of our trip home. She is re-writing our proposal and finding foundations that may be willing to help us with our operating costs. Delightful young lady.

Hannah was so glad to have us all back. The babies were all healthy–even a bit too fat–and everything was in great order in our house and the baby Home.

This morning we went to visit Nkoaranga Baby Home which is nearby. They have an HIV+ baby who may be transferred here. They first need to speak to the grandparents. In the afternoon Hannah and I went into town for supplies: 25 kg of powdered milk, 50 kg of enriched maize flour, 10 kg of baby porridge and other smaller items.

So life goes. At the moment we have five twenty something year old, volunteers, one being our son. He and his friend MiHyang, from Korea, will be spending the year here learning and helping with the ADRA work.
